9 Steps to Franchise Ownership with Home Helpers®

9 Steps to Franchise Ownership with Home Helpers®

Have you always dreamed of helping others in your community, but you weren’t sure how to get started? With our nine step program, you can begin changing the lives of seniors in your area in no time!

When you join the Home Helpers® family, we’re with you every step of the way.

Step 1: Initial Contact and Opportunity Exploration

The decision to own a business is one that shouldn’t be made lightly. To ensure we’re only awarding franchise opportunities to those who are passionate about home care, we’ll typically ask what drove you to business ownership and Home Helpers®, specifically.

Step 2: Home Helpers® Overview

This is the time for you to ask any and all questions you may have. We understand that this is a big decision so we’ll dive into the world class care and marketing expertise we provide our franchises.

Step 3: Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) Review

The FDD is a legal document that outlines the obligations of both parties. And because we understand this is likely your first time going through this process, we’ll review the document together to ensure everyone is satisfied with their understanding of the agreement.

Step 4: Territory Review

With business ownership just a few steps away, now is the time to decide where you’re going to operate.

Step 5: Validation Calls with Other Home Helpers® Owners

One of the greatest perks of joining a franchise is the ability to speak with other owners. During these calls, owners will go into detail about what challenges they faced and how they overcame obstacles. They’ll also provide extensive advice and real-world support.

Step 6: Meet the Team Day at the National Support Center

Potential owners are invited to our National Support Center in Cincinnati, Ohio where they’ll meet with company management, support staff, and other Home Helpers® owners.

Step 7: Franchise Agreement

This is the step that solidifies your place as a Home Helpers® owner. You’ll now sign the franchise agreement, pay your franchise fee, and begin having weekly calls with management.

Step 8: New Owner Training

It’s back to our National Support Center in Cincinnati for a full week of extensive training with our Franchise Onboarding Manager and Franchise Services Team.

Step 9: Start Operating Your Business

You are now ready to run your own business! Follow our proven model of success and you’ll now be “doing well while doing good.”
