Honoring Service: Home Helpers® Home Care CEO & President Emma Dickison Participates in Fourth of July Ceremony at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

At Home Helpers® Home Care, honoring those who have served the country is not just a responsibility; it's a privilege. This Fourth of July, CEO & President Emma Dickison had the profound honor of participating in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington, D.C., alongside David Conolly, a U.S. military veteran and owner of Home Helpers® Home Care of Tri-Cities, VA.

A Moment of Profound Honor

The ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery represents one of the most esteemed traditions in American military culture. More than 400,000 service members are laid to rest at Arlington, united in a legacy of sacrifice and service to our nation. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier stands as a solemn symbol of all unidentified service members lost in war – a respected place of remembrance and reflection.

This deeply moving ceremony held significant personal meaning for Emma, as her father bravely served during World War II with the 83rd Army “Thunderbolt” Infantry Division.

The event required special approval due to the National Guard's attendance, underscoring the significance of this solemn ceremony. Emma's participation alongside David Conolly, a veteran who has dedicated his post-service life to caring for others as a Home Helpers® Home Care franchisee, perfectly embodied the franchise network’s commitment to honoring those who have served.
